Computers in Homes Sponsors:

The Nature of the Computers in Homes programme means that it is reliant heavily upon the support of partners and funding bodies for operation. The CiH team hence wishes to acknowledge its funders and sponsors. Without their commitment we could not run the numerous projects around the country and put ICT into the hands of the families we serve.

Key Sponsors:

Ministry of Education

The Ministry of Education:
MoE ICT in Schools has provided individual project funding for schools from Kaitaia to Bluff, East Cape in the N.I. to West Coasts of S.I., and even the Chathams. CIH has been built on MoE support and is grateful to the personnel responsible for helping drive this, in particular Carol Moffat, Murray Brown and Douglas Harre.

CA:
CA helps make an impact on community life by supporting non-profit organisations and educational institutions that add to the well being of our local communities. Specifically CA have funded the CIH project at Huntly Primary; donated office chairs to refugee CIH families in Porirua and Lower Hutt; and have pledged further funds to extend an Auckland CIH school.

Watchdog

Watchdog ISP:
...for subsidising CIH families with Safe Internet filtering on unlimited usage for less than half the cost of their regular service. CIH pays the first 6 months and Watchdog continues this reduced cost to families for a further 12 months if they wish. CIH is especially grateful for their dialup helpdesk service.

Past and present Managing Directors Bob Lye, Cory Dyer and now Brian Lawrence have all thrown their weight behind the project and provided excellent service. Their team processes our requests and make nothing too much trouble for CIH.
