October 2007:
Led by Leon Symes and Leona Karauria with Wairoa District Council, the funding bid for 250 more CPF families has been succesful.

June 2007:
The final Wairoa Extension families graduated at Te Mahia School in late March.
One family without power at home has received a Coke Oceania laptop and an extra parent has been trained for the spare PC, making 16 in all.
December 2006:
Happy graduates at Nuhaka School celebrated their success with their trainer, technician and school staff in November. Their tutor included a full revision of their learning outcomes and sent them home with a disk reminder.
Tiaho School graduated the same day with attendance by the Wairoa Mayor.
Local technician Leon Symes and Wairoa District Council have entered a bid to the Community Partnership Fund for more CIH families in the Wairoa region, building on what CIH has started via MoE funding.
